Poetry, short stories, plays, novels, history, philosophy, science, not necessarily in that order, classics that are worthy of discussion, current and past, western and non-western, these are the works we discuss. The discussion is what is most important. We discuss these works to enlarge our understanding of the ideas that shape our culture and gain a deeper appreciation for what it means to be human.

We are a writing group that has been around for almost two years. We have had five long term members and are now looking for a few additions to our group. We write in various genres, including mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and coming-of-age. We meet once a week on Tuesdays, from 7-9pm.
